Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an ideal immigration program for foreign workers in Canada and international graduates who aspire to become permanent residents of Canada. This program is part of the Express Entry system, designed to attract skilled workers who have gained Canadian work experience and want to settle permanently in the country.

What is Canadian Experience Class (CEC)?

The CEC is a Canadian immigration program that allows individuals with at least one year of work experience in Canada to apply for permanent residency. It is designed for temporary foreign workers and international graduates who want to stay in Canada long-term.

Express Entry System:

Launched on January 1, 2015, the Express Entry system is a fast-track immigration process used to select skilled workers for permanent residence. It prioritizes applicants who can contribute to Canada’s economic growth and selects them based on their skills and qualifications. If you meet the program’s criteria, you will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.

The Express Entry system is composed of three main immigration programs:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Benefits of Canadian Experience Class (CEC) PR Visa:

  1. Faster Processing: Applications are processed more quickly, often within 3 to 4 months.
  2. Work Experience Value: Applicants benefit from the one year of work experience, which adds points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
  3. No Settlement Fund Requirement: Unlike other immigration programs, applicants do not need to show proof of settlement funds.

Do You Need a Job Offer for Canadian Experience Class?
